Bunpitsu: So I’m finally back. This is something I translated like a year ago. I can’t vouch for its accuracy because I was inebriated and quite possibly high when I translated it. Not that anything I translate sober is all that accurate… The only holdup with this one is that nobody wanted to edit it.

HuhWhat: Those bubbles were small… There’s several things I’d like to point out: I hate editing. I hate editing. I hate editing. So that’s why these pages look like shit, and one of the two-pagers look like a grade schooler stitched it together with crayon. And I didn’t even bother with the other two. FUCK THIS!

InukoLoli Ch.3 Tribute to the Saint

I see two kids.

Due to a request by ribbon, I went and translated the third story in this compilation by Kawasaki Kentarou. At first I didn’t know how to approach a cute story about a little girl and her pet goat, until it dawned on me that goats don’t have tongues that long and very surely do not have masculine anthropomorphic physiques. Holding little respect for the original Japanese, I went and changed the title to “Tribute to the Saint”. Then, as it so often happens, I was presented with a bunch of maintenance and cleaning assignments at my workplace and I forgot about this project once again. Two days later, Kyou messaged me saying he finished editing the chapter and I will now once again claim credit for the efforts of others.

I had already grown to dislike the title I chose and wanted it to be closer to the original. So I told Kyou to change it to “Exalting the Great One”. Unfortunately, he already made a pretty title page for “Tribute to the Saint” and did not feel like changing it. I didn’t really give a shit either way, so here you have the chapter.

I also sent the translations to my friend and archnemesis, ribbon, and he basically told me he regrets asking me to translate it. I hope you all feel the same.
